Krystols experience at Armageddon Expo

Read about Krystol from Oh-Quileutes experience meeting Chaske and her Pink Paws. I (Patricia) was hanging out with her the whole time! We went to the expo together and a private audience panel!. Read on...



The first time i saw Chaske was at the Photo sessions. While I was walking he said "Hey Sweetie" & asked how I was. On the first photo he put his arms around me as I did to him too. He is a really TALL guy. He is very cuddly. So I got two photos with him with my Pink Paw showing. When it came to the panel he answered all the questions. He even plugged in a good band called "Unisex Salon" he also spoke to us about Be the Shift. The way he spoke about it makes me want to contribute and I'm going to try my hardest. When it came to the Autograph signing he commented on my Pink Paws. He thought it was really good and he loved it. He signed a picture of him spelling my name right. Yay. hahha! After that he was just signing autograpshs and enjoying Armageddon.
On Saturday, thanks to my friends aunty she gave me her Twilight Pass so I could go to the Private Chat, which was soo nice of her & for that THANK YOU! So anyways, 11 of us girls... (I think 8 which I knew lol) were all upstairs in the bar (which was closed) with Chaske Spencer for a half an hour private chat with him. He gave us some good inside gossip and everything, he looked really comfortable with us. I think we spoke for more than half an hour though hahah! He eventually left, and it was just us girls who pretty much stuck around to talk for maybe another half an hour lol. After that I roamed around Armageddon taking some shots of Chaske while I was at it... Yes he did notice I was taking photos of him and he kept staring at my camera. I think at some point I kind of got intimidated by his stare I just left lmaoo! But other than that.. Saturday was so much fun.

All & all.. Armageddon was complete. I met up with my girls.. Patricia, Magz, Jess & the girls from TeamTwilightNZ.... & seeing Chaske just made it complete by being there. Hes an amazing person guys. If you ever meet him you have to go and just start a conversation with him.. He is more than happy to talk to you.

The Twilight phenomenon hit Wellington today as New Moon star Chaske Spencer headlined the pop culture Armageddon expo.

Twi-hards turned out in droves to get a glimpse of the man sho plays Sam, the leader of the wolf pack in the second Twilight film.

From all corners of New Zealand and from all walks of life, Twilight's hardcore fans lined up and coughed up to spend a few precious moments with one of their heroes.

“Oh my god, it was worth everything, just everything!” exclaimed fan Lisa Eden after getting a photo with Spencer.

Spencer is a bit bewildered by his fame, saying: “It's really strange, like it's not supposed to be there.”

Buying your own piece of fantasy cinema is a big part of the Armageddon experience, even though New Moon has yet to be released in New Zealand on DVD yet.

“I wish I had known I would have grabbed a few of my DVDs and brought them over here to you guys,” says Spencer.

It's predicted 15,000 people will browse the merchandise at Armageddon in Wellington this weekend and the show's organisers says the visitors can't be pigeonholed.

New Moon’s Bronson Pelletier may be in the intimidating wolf pack, but in real life, he’s just one of the boys.

GF: IT’S SUCH A BUZZ TO HAVE SOMEONE FROM NEW MOON IN NEW ZEALAND. YOU’RE HERE FOR ARMAGEDDON EXPO AY?

Yeah. My agent told me I was coming and I was like, “Wow, yeah, that’s awesome.” I can’t wait to hear what questions I get asked by fans. I love video games and stuff so I’ll be loving it!

GF: HEY WE HEAR YOU B’DAY’S ON NEW YEAR’S
Yes, everybody parties on my b’day. Everyone sings happy birthday to me and I get my birthday beat.

GF: BIRTHDAY BEAT? WHAT’S THAT?
My friends are all guys and if it’s your b’day you get a friendly b’day beat. The next day I have bruises!

GF: WOW. SO WHAT DO YOU AND THE OTHER GUYS IN THE WOLFPACK GET UP TO?

We work out a lot. The guys are like my brothers.

GF: YOU ALREADY HAVE FOUR BROTHERS IN REAL LIFE. WHAT’S THAT LIKE?

My mom says that she’s an “unpaid referee”, so there’s a lot of fighting, but we get on, really. I got picked on by all my older brothers. They used to give me the whirly twirl.

GF: HOLD UP! WHAT’S THE WHILRY TWIRL?!

Where they put my head down the toilet, just for fun.

GF: NICE! JUST AS WELL TWILIGHT CAME ALONG TO KEEP YOU OUT OF TROUBLE. WHAT WAS YOUR FAV, NEW MOON OR ECLIPSE?

I liked filming New Moon best coz I got to do my own stunts.

Yeah, we go out for dinner, but I wouldn’t go as far as [to say we go to] parties.

We were super excited at Creme last month to actually get to see a member of the wolfpack in the flesh in NZ! Bronson Pelletier, who plays Jared in New Moon was in Auckland to meet as many of his fans as possible.

Creme caught up with Bronson at the Armageddon Expo, where he'd had a massive few days and was also preparing himself for a mammoth month ahead. The day we caught up with him he was flying out to Vancouver, his home, where he was spending just one night before he was due in Paris for a work appearance. He didn't even want to think past Paris because his schedule was so chock-a-block! He was super keen though to talk all about New Moon, Eclipse, his massive love for NZ and loads of on-set goss!

How are you enjoying NZ? Did you get a chance to do some sight-seeing?

I went to Waiheke Island - it was really nice there. I did the sky jump and that's about it. I'm going to come back to New Zealand though. I wanna come back on vacation. I love it here. Honestly!

Are you Team Edward or Jacob?

Of course I'm Team Jacob. Werewolves all the way!

Chaske Spencer, who plays Sam Uley, says you're a real jokester. What trouble did you cause on set?

What trouble didn't i cause?!?!! I put clear plastic cling wrap over the guys' toilets, that was probably the worst! I joked around on set all the time and brought a lot of energy - that's probably why Chaske said that. Taylor also said I was a joker and really fitted the character - that's pretty cool!

Where are you upto with the filming on the movies? Has anything been different to the books?

We just finished Eclipse. You know what? They didn't include Kim in the movie, so I didn't get my on-screen kiss. I was really looking forward to that too!

What was your fav scene you've filmed so far?

I didn't get to film the Eclipse crazy werewolf and vampire fight with the newborns, but I really liked that scene. I watched them shoot it and it was really interesting to watch. It was all done with CGI so it was good to watch! My favourite scene to film was when I had to jump off this 50ft scaffolding and they didn't have a stunt person who fit my description, so I got to do my own stunts. I first did a 30ft jump and I had butterflies in my stomach. I jumped off and then took it up to the 50 ft. And finally they were like, "Are you comfortable? We're going to throw you off the 50ft." I wasn't that happy about being thrown off - jumping myself wasn't so bad, but being thrown wasn't my thing. That's definately going on my resume that I did my own stunts!

How'd you get this job?

I auditioned for Embry first then I got a call back for Quill. But, to be honest, I didn't really know what the movie was - I know! My bad! Then I went and did my research and found out it was this huge project. So when I came into that next audition I was a little more nervous! A lot was on the line! I did that one for Quill and then three weeks later they called me and told me I got the role. I was like, "YES!" Literally jumping up and down on the street! Then two weeks before filming they sent me the script and all the bits for Jared were underlined for me, and I was like, "What? What's going on here?" But it's great coz Jared was one of the first to join in the wolf pack and is Sam Uley's right hand man, so I was even more pumped.

What was the most difficult part of filming?

We did it in August and had to do it without our shirts, so it was pretty chilly. Then we had fake rain coming up on top of us - it wasn't warmed up, it was cold. This was all in the middle of a really cold spring. There was one point where they did a really wide shot, so normally we had people on the sides of the shot with warm-up coats and stuff, but they were so far away. We were all freezing and between shots the wolf pack would run behind trees and stand all together like in a rugby pack to stay warm.

Are you worried about what's ahead of you with the fans and paparazzi? Like what's been happening to Robert Pattinson?

He was warning me about it, actually. He said, "Trust me. As soon as the movie comes out, you guys aren't going to be able to go anywhere." At home we have this SkyTrain. It's like, ah, a train in the sky, ha ha, probably why it's called the SkyTrain! Anyway, I like catching the SkyTrain coz it's so quick. It takes so long having to drive everywhere, coz it's so hard to get around justing driving. So Rob told me I won't be able to take the SkyTrain after this movie, which sucks!

What's been your weirdest fan experience so far?

I had someone ask me for my cellphone number, my home address and my postcode. I played this guy called Jack in this other movie and she said to me, "Can I just call you Jack?" Ahh... so I sort of stopped talking to her and she got angry, so I said sorry and she said, "Ok, if I see you again though, I'm going to kill you!" Eeeeeeeeek. That was weird.

Have you had any cool celeb encounters?

I once got to sit down with Samuel L. Jackson and he's such a great guy. He went through all the things about the industry, what you should do, what you shouldn't do and gave me some really valuable advice.

Have you ever met Taylor Swift?

No, I've never met her. She came on set a little while ago, but i wasn't there that day.

What's Taylor Lautner Like?

Oh he's so great. He's a really nice guy. His parents brought him up really well, he's got good manners - a real please-and-thank-you kind of guy. Wouldn't really give him sugar though. He does this amazing trick - it's like useless trick number four hunred and something. You can pick up a grape and throw it as far as you want, like a football field away, and he'll catch it in his mouth. One after another! Believe me, we had a heap of time on our hands making those movies!

Out of the Cullens, whos your fav?

I like Alice. Sh's hot. Out of the Volturi - I like Daniel (Cudmore), he played Colossus in X-Men and I like Cameron Bright. Oh and Charlie (Bewley) - he's a funny guy.

Did it make you nervous knowing you'd have to take your shirt off a lot in this movie?

Nah, I don't have to worry about it too much. I have the gift of the gab to fall back on!

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

I play a lot of video games. I can play them for hours and hours and hours at a time. I love watching cartoons too. Sometimes my friends will ask if I wanna go out with them and i'll be like, "Nah, I can't I've got heaps of work stuff to do!" When actually I just wanna stay home and watch cartoons.

You've been doing a lot of travelling lately. Where's been your faviourite place so far?

New Zealand. I'm not just saying that either, I really love it here. I'm definately coming back.

Any advice for getting into acting?

First things first, get an agent. Shop around for one of those. Get prepared for a lot of rejection. Always move forward. Always push forward coz you've gotta have a lot of drive in this industry.

BRONSON TALKS ABOUT LUUURVE...

DO YOU HAVE A NEW MOON ROMANCE? ASK OUT ANY OF YOUR CAST MATES?

No I haven't. I've made the mistake of mixing business with pleasure before and never again will I date someone I work with!

IS ANYONE DATING?, LIKE, I DON'T KNOW, SAY KRISTEN AND ROB?

Sorry, I honestly don't know the answer to that question!

Pink Paws at NZ's Armageddon Expo

Jess from New Zealand was able to attend Auckland’s Armageddon Expo last weekend where Bronson came as a guest. He came to represent the cast of New Moon all by himself. He represented well! Here is her account with meeting Bronson and basically a whole review of the Expo!

OMG what can I say New Zealand never gets any Twilight Saga cast members here, that was until “MrsCedward” (YAAY thankyou so much) told me a “wolf” was coming to Auckland’s Armageddon Expo this month I HAD TO GO!!!! For about a month and a half I begged my parents to let me go, since Armageddon was in Auckland, and I live in Palmerston North which is pretty much a 7-9 hour drive away, the answer was always “NO” ): So being a stubborn person I persevered and managed to convince my dad to take my friend and I up to Auckland to see Bronson (:

When we got to the ASB Arena it was like 8:45am and the doors didn’t open till 9am so it was PACKED!!!! My friend and I got some “weird” looks from people who were obviously anti-twilight fans, because we were wearing twilight tops, but we couldn’t care . So when the doors opened I pretty much felt so out of place because it was a lot of sci-fi stuff, but then I found all these stalls that were selling heaps of different Twilight/New Moon merch. We went to the Hoytz Cinema stall where they were playing the New Moon trailer, so Sarah and I just stood there watching the whole thing, while the three guys manning the stall pretty much laughed at us. At 11:20am we headed over to where they were having the celebrity photos, at that point Jason Mormor (from Stargate posb?) was having his photos taken. Bronson wasn’t due until 12:10pm but there was already a line forming. We met three girls and a guy that had travelled from Marton (just before Palmy) to Auckland to meet Bronson.

At about 12:05pm I was fully excited to meet Bronson, AND then he arrives, HOTNESS AND ALL!!!!!! Wearing his ray bans, a t-shirts with New Zealand on it (cuuuuuute!), epic as jeans, and mint white shoes, with a pounamu around his neck. He was so ADORABLE! He was like hugging everyone and laughing! So when it was our turn, I got out pink paws out and held them up while Bronson PUT HIS ARMS AROUND US!!! (Yuuuussss) and he goes “can’t forget the paws” while laughing. After the photo he gave us both a hug and we were pretty much shaking with excitement after, so I continued to stand on the side taking photos for half an hour along with 20 other girls, OMG at points he would look at all the cameras on the side too! My friend had to literally drag me away because I couldn’t leave on my own free will haaahah we also had to go because we had to get a good seat for his question and answer panel, which was at 1:10pm plus I also had to text my dad to come and video the whole of the panel. At 1:05pm they started playing the Twilight soundtrack to get the atmosphere going, THEN BRONSON WALKS IN (*sighhhhh), he is then introduced onto stage and literally every single camera went off for about 5 minutes non-stop.

Throughout the panel Bronson was so down to earth and answered every question honestly . We learnt that he got kicked out of high school for unknown reasons (which seemed to amuse him because he went off into a thought), his hidden talent which is so CUTE! He does this thing with his mouth where he gets a invisible piece of string and lifts one side of his mouth up at a time. Two people (one was a guy lol) asked him to show the audience his abs (; but he said “were gonna have to watch the movie to see them”. We also learnt that out of all of the countries he has visited New Zealand is his FAVOURITE!!! And that he is definitely coming back for a holiday here, he also said New Zealand looks like Vancouver (*hint hint Summit, film Breaking Dawn in NZ). Someone then asked him what his worst sexual experience was, haha I think he got a bit flustered there, he said he would tell us but there were “little people/ears” there.

At one point Bronson came into the audience for about 40 minutes to ask questions, everyone kept asking him for hugs. Autographs and photos and he was too happy to oblige so he did it all. One kid gave him chocolate and he was like “you guys like giving me chocolate don’t you” which he then ate later on stage. A few times Bronson was literally right in front of me, that if wanted to I could’ve grabbed his hand/arm and pulled and he would be right next to me (it was AMAZINGGG! I think I took a pic of his arm) I have the whole panel recorded so I’m trying to get that online so look out for it (: Bronson is seriously such a down to earth guy, he’s so chilled and isn’t fazed out by his fame, he also LOVES and respects his fans, which I find so adorable.

At 3pm I went and picked up my photo with Bronson and went to line up to get an autograph, hi line was literally round the corner from where he was. I waited about 45 minutes for an autograph. When we finally got to him he looked so exhausted and tired (poor baby), he asked what team we were on which we replied with “Edward” then Sarah went “ohh and Jasper” Haah I forgot to go “Jared of course!” because I am now. He wrote (right handed btw) on a photo of the wolf pack “To Jess & Sarah From “Jared” his signature and a paw print along with xoxo” Cuuuuuute! We thanked him in which he replied with “no problem” and a dazzling smile!! I almost jumped over the table because of his hot ass accent!! All in all I had the best day EVER, all thanks to Bronson Pelletier! It was seriously worthwhile travelling all that way to meet him. If you EVER get the opportunity to meet Bronson Pelletier TAKE IT UP!!! You will NOT be disappointed, he loves his fans and is happy to give hugs, autographs, photos and even accepts the gifts his fans give him. He has a genuine personality and is so down to earth. It was a privilege to meet him and I hope he enjoyed his time in New Zealand and comes back soon. Thanks Bronson for giving me the best experience a twilight fan could ask for. If Bronson ever reads this on behalf of New Zealand we thank you Bronson for taking your time to come to New Zealand for Armageddon, we hope you had loads of fun and can’t wait to see you back here, Happy 23rd birthday for the 31^st of December from all the Twilight fans that were at Armageddon and all the others throughout New Zealand.

Bronson Brings A smile To a Cancer Stricken Teen

Between the interviews and SkyJumping, Bronson took the time to visit a Cancer patient, which became a dream come true.

A 13-year-old girl beat down for months by constant chemotherapy was beaming yesterday after meeting the "wildest of the wolves" from her favourite series.

Taylor Harris, who is suffering from leukaemia, met actor Bronson Pelletier from soon-to-be-released Twilight: New Moon at the Rendezvous Hotel in a meeting organised by charities and Hoyts Cinemas.

Taylor was in awe at meeting her favourite character in the vampire romance series, the wildest of a pack of wolves.

"I'm kind of, like, star-struck," she said.

She had been left speechless the previous day when she found out about the meeting, she said.

According to Taylor, her mother Jacqui had also perked up in preparation for the meeting with the wild wolf, finding shirtless photos of Pelletier on Google.

Last minute change! Bronson will be appearing in Melbourne for the Armageddon Expo on Oct. 17. He could be there as I type!

He will then travel to New Zealand for the Armageddon Expo there as well. That will be the weekend of the Oct. 24. For sure the paws will appear in Aukland!

I doubt he's reading, but travel safe, Bronson!
