Lopez fits right in with Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier.
In a sit-down interview with "Extra," Pelletier -- who is nicknamed "Slater Jr." -- joked to Lopez that, "when we were casting this thing I thought I was gonna lose my role out to you."
Added Meraz, "You're the missing wolf pack member!"
Taylor Lautner says it's "definitely a possibility" that Lopez could join the pack. Stewart was more sure. "You totally could be," she said.
"We'll get you in there," Spencer promised.

Bronson's been nicknamed Slater Jr.! It's the dimples.

"Denver I gotta say is the most intense fans we've ever seen," says Meraz. "It was just us, and like 700 fans, all at once just shouting. I personally didn't expect that." It's safe to say there will be a similar scene tonight at the Galleria. At last year's event, fans camped out to meet the stars who appeared here -- Taylor Lautner, who plays Bella's werewolf best friend Jacob, and two of Twilight's evil vampires.
Both actors seem excited by all the attention, and a little nervous. "They're very respectful, when you get a fan by themselves," says Meraz, "but get them all together and it's like a mob."
Meraz recently appeared in People magazine -- with his shirt off, of course. After getting the role of Paul, who's a bit of a grumpy werewolf and attacks Bella when he discovers she knows the pack's secret, he says, "I just figured I should look like a fighter. Not overly Greek-god buff, but, like, scrappy. Just ripped and lean, kind of Bruce Lee-like."
For their roles, Gordon, Meraz and the other actors playing werewolves buffed up in an intense physical regimen they called "wolf camp."
"We got a trainer, we worked out really hard. We were pushing each other hard," says Gordon, "eating tons of protein, and like six meals a day. It was good, because we all bonded. I gained muscle I didn't even know I had."
Fans are probably already lining up at the Galleria to meet Gordon and Meraz. But if you do make it to the front for an autograph, we have one piece of advice for you: Don't call them "Native American." Call them "First Nations People." Trust us on this.

"It's weird. On my MySpace I have people from Brazil, from France, from Italy, lots of places it's crazy," Gordon said.
But Gordon and Meraz say they can understand the popularity of the movie which has many universal themes.
"I think that's what fans across the world have enjoyed about it is that it's a love story done in this fantasy realm and why people connect to it is because there's so much that they can relate to. Everyone knows what it feels like to be dumped or to try to befriend somebody or defend somebody or to get revenge and these books, the films, they have it all," Meraz said.
"New Moon" hits theaters Friday, Nov. 20. It is expected to surpass the $384 million that Twilight sank its teeth into in theatres worldwide last year.

You stand out among the Wolf Pack because of your scene with Bella – the slap heard ‘round the world, so to speak. Tell me how that scene went down.
Alex Meraz: It was exciting. Even just in the casting of it, I just really liked Paul. What happened with the casting process is, we sent in our information and through that they were going to break it down. I sent it in and started reading New Moon while I was waiting and I really liked Paul because of that scene, and I really like bad boys and he's kind of the bad boy of the Wolf Pack. I got the chance to audition and I got that role, saw the script and was blown away by it. I knew it was the first transformation you were going to see in the movie, and it's definitely a scene that stands out. There was pressure to make sure it looked good, but I knew I was in good hands – Chris Weitz is just an amazing director, and Phil Tippett who did the special effects was going to make me look awesome. So it was fun.
What scene did you perform in your audition?
They gave us stuff from the book that wasn't even in the script – there's a kitchen scene at Emily's when we figure out that it's Victoria killing people on the reservation, and that's when we set up a game plan. It was that scene.
You and Kristen have a very adversarial encounter in the slap scene. Do you think that Paul really wants to kill her in that moment?
Yes, definitely! He's compulsive, you know. He kind of goes with the flow, but he's volatile, but not in a "I like to hurt people" way; he's very proud. He has a thick sense of pride, and he really wants to protect the reservation and she's bringing nothing but trouble. So in that scene, I'm thinking in my head, "Do something to make me change, so I can kill you." Just do something, because I'm itching to kill her. She's a nuisance, a problem. That was that way I did it in the scene, and of course she hits me, and that's enough to change me.
Did you and Kristen rehearse that a lot beforehand?
Not at all. We did one rehearsal the day of, said our lines, and we were good! The next day, we shot it and experimented – one time I tried grabbing her throat, which she was not fond of – and we played around with it, the director gave us good stuff to do, and it was what it was.
Did Kristen really hit you in the face?
She started finding a home for that fist on my face. It was getting really close.
There's a nice little moment between you and Kristen again after the fight, when the Wolf Pack has reconvened at Emily's house and you turn to her and say "Sorry," with a bit of a smile.
I improvised that. I asked if I could do something because I felt that something was missing there. A little humor should be added. Luckily, Chris was keen enough to see it from that perspective, and he thought it was great. I'm glad it made it in because it adds another level to my character – not just volatile, but playful.
What can we expect to see from Paul in Eclipse?
There are some cool fight scenes with the Wolf Pack, some CG stuff but I'm looking forward to the fight with Kellan's character, Emmett. There's a little encounter.
Have you read Breaking Dawn?
I have.
How do you feel about the idea of imprinting?
It's crazy! [Laughs] It's a little creepy, but it's interesting. It's very different from the typical werewolf-vampire stories. I think it works; it's what Stephenie Meyer created.
As a Native American actor, how much of a responsibility do you feel to represent indigenous culture respectfully in the Twilight films?
It's about breaking down barriers. Even amongst the native community, there are thousands of tribes; you can't include the Brazilian tribes because they're not Native American. There are so many tribes in Central America, Mexico, Canada… I was just excited that I got an opportunity as a Native Mexican, because my tribe is the Purepecha tribe and there's so much cultural identity there that still exists. It's a different kind of Native American than Hollywood likes to portray. The person on horseback with feathers – not all natives look like that. Clearly, we see that with the Quileute tribe. I was glad that they let real natives portray that, a different mythology.
Do you think the Twilight Saga really serves the Quileute culture?
It serves them in that it takes things from the mythology and their creation story and combines it with fantasy. But it's not completely accurate. Part of their creation story is that they came from wolves, but they can't change back. That's one of the things that the Quileute are protesting. But I think it serves them because it's giving them the spotlight. It informs people of the tribe. Now tons of people are coming to La Push to see people from the Quileute tribe. I think that's great. I've talked to the other Wolf Pack members and we've discussed that we'd like to go to the actual reservation and speak with some of the council members and pay homage. That's kind of the Native way, anyways. You can't just take something, you have to give back as well. So that's something we plan on doing at some point.

Ahead of the baseball party, the opening ceremony takes place in the main hall.
Organiser Jason Joiner, of Massive Events, makes a plea for the audience not to "squeal" as the guests arrive. Instead there are screams and whoops.
Edi Gathegi is first up on stage. "You beautiful UK people!" He has them eating out of his hand in seconds.
Next it's Tyson Houseman, a newcomer to the Twilight family and at his first UK convention.
"I have always wanted to run onto a stage and yell 'Hello England!' really loud," he says.
"You're so cute!" calls a woman's voice in the audience.
"Don't try to jump on me, I'm really sick right now," says Houseman, who is genuinely nursing a cold.

J-14 exclusive interview with Alex Meraz about Taylor Lautner Vs. Himself:
J-14: Your background is in martial arts, just like Taylor Lautner -- how do your skills compare?
Alex Meraz: I'm better. (Laughs) No, you know Taylor, you've gotta look at the difference. Taylor is 17, I'm 24. I've been doing it a lot longer. And as of recently, I've really become more of an actor now. This is what I'm heavily relying on in terms of survival and what I'm really into now. But a couple of months ago, I was still training and considering doing mixed martial arts like cage fighting. So I'm without a doubt -- without trying to be an ego maniac -- better!
J-14: So you guys trained in different forms of martial arts?
Alex: Yeah, he did more for events -- more of the flashy kind of things. I did it more for efficiency -- to fight.
J-14: But you can both stand there and do back flips?
Alex: Yeah, we can both do back flips.
CS: Taylor is a lovable man! He is so cool! First, he is raised right. He is a good kid. He's got his head on his shoulders and he's fun. He can be an adult when it comes time to work, but he is still 17 so he can be a kid as well. He gets really bored easily so between takes he will do flips and stuff. And he can do break-dancing and karate. The production people had to tell him to chill a few times because it got a little rowdy.
17: When you weren't working out, what did you guys do on set?
CS: We goofed around a lot. It's really fun because you get to hang out with these guys that you get along with. It was like a party. We would all pile into my trailer and watch a movie sometimes if it was taking a while to get to set or if they were busy filming something else. On off time, we would go to restaurants and clubs together. They were like my brothers.
17: On set, is it really vampires v. werewolves? Are there cliques?
CS: No! It's such a huge cast that everyone gets along but we don't get to see everybody. I've seen Rob on New Moon like twice, just in the makeup trailer, and then we go off to film our scenes. If we're filming, the vampires are off, and when they are filming, we are at the gym. So it's not a clique, it wasn't meant to happen, that's just the way it is. Everyone gets along, though.

SayWhatNews: When did you realize you wanted to be an actor?
Tyson: I never really came to a realization that this was something I wanted to pursue. It just sort of happened. New Moon was the first audition that I had ever been to in my life. It was actually an open casting call, and I found out about it from a friend. I thought that it would be a good experience to have, and I never once expected that I would get it. But I did the open casting call, and I got a callback the next week. When they sent me the lines I had to learn for the callback, the casting director told me that there were two different scenes, one really long one and another really short one. He told me I only had to do the short one and they wouldn’t have time to do the long one and it wouldn’t even be in the film. But I learned the long scene anyways and when I did the callback I did the short scene and afterwards I asked if I could do the long one too, and they said yes. A week later I got a call saying I had gotten the part.
I think Tyson being prepared and asking to do the longer scene at the callback is what got him the part. Late congrats Tyson!

LimeLife: Julia, you were cast with a pretty dynamic and somewhat complex character. Can you tell us about Leah Clearwater?
Julia Jones: Yeah, totally. First of all she's the only werewolf who's a female, which is in itself a very cool thing, but she has this complicated backstory where she is heartbroken because the head of the pack Sam Uley left her for her best friend and her cousin. So in addition to that she's dealing with all the changes that you have in your body when you become a wolf, and as a girl there's really nobody who knows what's happening to her - she's really alone and out there and heartbroken at the same time. And it makes her very angry and mean, and really she's just in a lot of pain and she doesn't know how to ask for help so she lashes out.

VF.com: How did you get the part of Wolf Pack leader, Sam Uley?
Chaske Spencer: It was one of the weirdest auditions I’ve done. We put it on tape, and usually the process is: you meet the casting director, get a callback, then you meet the producer and director. This just went straight from tape. I auditioned for all of the parts of the Wolf Pack; they called me back and told me what part I had. Also, I didn’t really know who [the character] was because I didn’t know much about Twilight. Then I figured it out and said, “Wow, that’s a really good part.” It’s amazing. I’ve never gotten a part like that before.

A 13-year-old girl beat down for months by constant chemotherapy was beaming yesterday after meeting the "wildest of the wolves" from her favourite series.
Taylor Harris, who is suffering from leukaemia, met actor Bronson Pelletier from soon-to-be-released Twilight: New Moon at the Rendezvous Hotel in a meeting organised by charities and Hoyts Cinemas.
Taylor was in awe at meeting her favourite character in the vampire romance series, the wildest of a pack of wolves.
"I'm kind of, like, star-struck," she said.
She had been left speechless the previous day when she found out about the meeting, she said.
According to Taylor, her mother Jacqui had also perked up in preparation for the meeting with the wild wolf, finding shirtless photos of Pelletier on Google.
